Based on the work plan of the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) for the implementation of strategic projects, for the prevention and fight against corruption, electronic declaration of assets by senior public officials keeps being one of the components of interest.
In the course of the project implementation for electronic declaration of assets, representatives from UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) and the contracting company ASSECO, have made an introduction of the electronic asset declaration system, presenting therein all modules for the use of this system and the identification of possible needs for system improvement and upgrade, until its completion.
The Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Yll Buleshkaj, asked the representatives of UNDP (Support for Anti-Corruption Efforts in Kosovo, SAEK III) and the contracting company ASSECO, to accelerate the dynamics of the project implementation, while emphasizing that the Anti-Corruption Agency will be in the service of the realization of all the requirements and the arising needs, so that this project starts to be implemented successfully.
The project on electronic declaration of assets started in 2019 in cooperation between the Anti-Corruption Agency and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Electronic declaration of assets is an information system developed to manage the process of declaration of assets by senior public officials providing the opportunity for all senior public officials to declare assets electronically, while providing ACA the possibility to verify and check the accuracy of the declared data through the electronically registered data.
The project implementation for electronic declaration of assets started in 2019 as a project, while its main objective is transparency and accountability in the publication of information on the declaration of assets of senior public officials.
