ACA INITIATED OFFENSE PROCEEDINGS AGAINST 21 OFFICIALS

Prishtina, 25 October 2011 - Anti-Corruption Agency has initiated proceedings in the courts for minor offenses against 21 public officials for non-declaration of their property on taking their public function.

 

 

 

 

 


Officials against whom the Agency has initiated offense proceedings are:

  4. Sherafedin MUMXHIU – TERMOKOS
  5. Fatos BERISHA – MCYS
  6. Emin EMINI – MCYS
  7. Driart ELSHANI – MPA
  8. Ilhami GASHI – MIA
  9. Eljana NAKA – MTI
  10. Granit Berisha – MTI
  11. Valdrin LLUKA – MTI
  12. Irfan LIPOVICA – MTI
  13. Hasan HASANI – RWC-Ekoregjioni Prizren
  14. Perparim KRASNIQI – RWC-Ekoregjioni Prizren
  15. Emin GËRBESHI – ASSEMBLY OF KOSOVO

Abovementioned officials have not complied with the legal term on declaration of status of the property in conformity with the law No. 04/L-050 On Declaration, Origin and Control of Property of Senior Public Declaration, Origin and Control of Gifts for all officials, respectively, Article 6, paragraph 1.1 of this law.
Also under Article 17, paragraph 2, the Agency on the occasion of initiation of offense proceedings against abovementioned officials notifies the institution in which the senior official works or has worked, and also based on Article 17 paragraph 3, the Agency has the obligation to publish the names of senior public officials who have not declared the status of the property as provided by this law. 
Law No. 04/L-050 obliges the Agency to oversee the property of high public officials in conformity to Article 3 of this law.
