In the meeting with Ambassador Szunyog, the Director of APK, Yll Buleshkaj said that accountability, transparency and cooperation with the media and non-governmental organizations continue to remain a priority in the prevention of corruption and that only during the year 2022, of the received information, in within the Agency's mandate, over 30 cases have been initiated for treatment by cooperation with non-governmental organizations and the media. Within the framework of mutual cooperation, APK in cooperation with the EU office in Kosovo, will launch the information campaign for the prevention of corruption, which aims to inform citizens about the scope of the Agency and will include information on the protection of whistleblowers. , the asset declaration process and the prevention of Conflict of interest.
On the World Anti-Corruption Day, the Head of the EU/EUSR Office expressed readiness for continued support for the implementation of the Agency's mandate in anti-corruption efforts.
