The Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Yll Buleshkaj met today the Ambassador of the Republic of France in Kosovo, Marie- Christine Butel

ACA Director Yll Buleshkaj: The priority of the Agency during the five-year term will be oriented towards transparency and accountability, which focuses on increasing the credibility of citizens in public institutions.
Cooperation in development projects in the field of prevention and fight against corruption were the main topic of discussion between the meeting of the Director of AKM and the Ambassador of the Republic of France in Kosovo, Marie Christine Butel.
The Director of ACA, Yll Buleshkaj informed the Ambassador of France in Kosovo, Butel, about the scope of ACA, oriented towards the prevention and fight against corruption, administrative investigations, declaration of assets of senior public officials and the prevention of the conflict of interest.
Director Yll Buleshkaj, stressed that the priority of the Agency during the five-year term will be oriented towards transparency and accountability, which focuses on increasing the credibility of citizens in public institutions.
The main goal of ACA is to work closely with senior public officials to increase integrity and accountability in the exercise of official duty, avoiding possible conflict of interest, said the Director of ACA, Yll Buleshkaj.
In this joint meeting was also discussed the possibilities of exchanging experiences of ACA with institutions with the same scope in France to strengthen mechanisms for preventing and combating corruption.
While, the Ambassador of Butel confirmed the support of the Embassy of France in Kosovo for the support and development of the institutional capacities of Kosovo in order to prevent and fight corruption based on the mutual exchange of experiences.
