Heads of the two institutions, Kosovo-Albania, are discussing on cooperation in preventing and fighting corruption.

Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Mr. Yll Buleshkaj has met today with the General Inspector of the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets and Conflict of Interest in Albania, Mrs. Evgjeni Bashari

Advancing policies in the prevention and fighting corruption and administering the process of electronic declaration of assets, were topics of discussion between Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Mr. Yll Buleshkaj and Mrs. Evgjeni Bashari, General Inspector of the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets and Conflict of Interest in Albania.

 

In the joint meeting, two leaders of the institutions discussed about the possibilities of cooperation and exchange of information on electronic declaration of assets, and on the experience of Republic of Albania during the implementation of this project.

 

Director of ACA, Mr. Yll Buleshkaj informed the General Inspector of HIDAACIA, Mrs. Evgjeni Bashari on the mandate and legal scope of ACA, while emphasizing that the Anti-Corruption Agency is currently in the phase of addressing the methodology on electronic declaration of assets, and that the exchange of experiences and information with HIDAACIA is important in order to avoid shortcomings and identification of possible difficulties that may arise during the process.

 

In the joint meeting, the two heads of institutions agreed on the continuation of mutual cooperation in exchanging experiences of interest to both countries in the prevention and fighting corruption.
