ANTI-CORRUPTION AGENCY SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE OFFICE OF THE AUDITOR GENERAL

In the premises of the Office of the Auditor General was signed the cooperation agreement between the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Office of the Auditor General.
1. Anti-Corruption Agency and the Office of the Auditor General established partnership and cooperation relations in preventing and combating corruption through: 
a) Implementation of communication and data exchange in order to increase efficiency and coordination of work between these two institutions to strengthen the fight against corruption in the field of public finances 
b) Coordination of joint tasks and activities for detecting and investigating corruption according to the Law no. 03/L-159 and Law no. 03/075 
c) Providing mutual advice in detecting financial violations that result in corruptive actions
2. Office of the Auditor General can provide assistance to the Anti-Corruption Agency in initiated investigation processes of the corruptive nature by providing information and other types of support.
3. Anti-Corruption Agency will provide assistance to the Office of the Auditor General when the latter, during the audit process, suspects that public institutions have committed acts of corruption during the process of managing public money.
