PRISHTINA, 10 April 2008 - Officials from the Department for the Prevention of Corruption of the Anti Corruption Agency visited the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets (HIDAA) of Albania.
The visit is intended to get to know more closely the work and the procedure of the Declaration of Property and Conflict of Interests in Albania, having special emphasis on the cooperation between HIDAA from Albania and ACA from Kosovo.
Head of Department for the Prevention of Corruption of ACA Mr. Jetullah Ali said that from this visit they have taken experience about the practical operation of HIDAA.
"In fact we got very good experience on the functioning of the High Inspectorate for Declaration and Audit of Assets in Albania that is a sister institution to the ACA. I believe that the experiences obtained there will serve us as a significant input to our work in general but in particular will serve the Division for Monitoring the Property and the Conflict of Interest”.
Two-day agenda of ACA officials in Albania included a wide range of activities but with particular emphasis to get acquainted with legal work, and with due practical procedures of HIDAA activities.
